What began as a one-man operation in 1979 has transformed into a progressive, service driven entity striving to meet the specialised needs of fluid power system designers and engineers. Today, 40 years later, Hydrasales is a focused, competent and solution driven company. Our branch network and supply chain services the Southern African, Sub Saharan and East African regions and reaches primary and remote markets easily. Our ethics and core values encompass integrity, quality, service, competitiveness and delivery.

Hydrasales long standing relationships with its principals allows for continued access to leading edge technologies, product development and product innovation. Our commitment to the procurement of the most suitable solution is ensured. Our principals value us as an extention of their domestic supply chain and provide all technological support that may be required for our markets.

For Africa, Hydrasales represents MP Filtri, Faster, Mintor, Nuova Fima, Euroswitch, and our business model allows for specialisation and focus on a clearly defined range of products for our industry. This also minimises the procurement of goods from local sources and allows for a highly valued distribution chain.

Hydrasales is represented nationally through our branches in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town which support and service original equipment manufactures, re-sellers and end users. Our products are used in hydraulic, engineering, mining, mobile, construction, agricultural and industrial applications. Our products and services are listed and approved by many large mining houses, parastatal utilities, hydraulic manufacturers, listed companies and mobile equipment manufacturers. Our products enjoy broad acceptance and are established brands within the South African market.

Hydrasales interest in the welfare and continued development of its people has been one of the driving factors in the business’s continued growth and progress. The business employs an average of fifteen people and is considered to be an employer with sound employee relations.

Within the dynamics of a changing South Africa, the company meets the relevant criteria of Black Economic Empowerment, participation of women in all tiers of operations and transformation.
